Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Europe Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Europe. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Bolt: Request a Ride from Bolt Technology maintained a consistent download rate, starting at around 201K weekly downloads and peaking at 217K in mid-August. Active users fluctuated slightly but showed an overall upward trend, ending the quarter with approximately 1.87M active users.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 230K and dropping to 179K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, from 4.67M at the beginning of the quarter to around 4.33M at the end.

Uber - Request a ride showed steady performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting at 237K and ending at 190K. Active users had a slight dip mid-quarter but recovered, ending with approximately 4.78M active users.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, from 139K to 100K by the end of September. Active users decreased as well, starting at 894K and ending the quarter with around 793K active users.

Uber Russia — order taxis had a noticeable drop in downloads, from 63K to 39K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decline, starting at 779K and ending at around 653K.
